Stewart Brewing
Stewart Brewing is an Edinburgh craft brewery. Located in Loanhead to the south of Edinburgh, it’s easy to reach by bus from the city centre. Offering brewing experiences and brewery tours, plus a bar, kitchen and shop, this is a fantastic attraction for all beer lovers. Tours and experiences are available on selected days only, so book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Brewery tours
Tours run on selected days and you can book online in advance to secure your space. Stewart Brewing will greet you with a cold beer on arrival, before guiding you around the modern working brewery. You’ll learn about the history of the brewery and how it produces its beers. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to try a few more beers in the bar, where they have up to 18 taps on at a time!
The brewery also has its own pizza kitchen, where you can enjoy a delicious meal after your tour. You can book a table here, choosing between indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a brewery shop, giving you the chance to pick up a souvenir. Fill your own reusable 1L or 2L growler and enjoy the taste of Stewart Brewing beer at home.

Beer experiences
The Brew It Yourself Experience is available for those who’d like to brew their very own beer. Let your brewer know what style of beer you prefer and how alcoholic you’d like it to be, and they will work with you to brew your own unique beer. A standard session takes around two and a half hours, and you can bring along up to 3 friends to help you out. Three weeks later, you’ll return to bottle, cap and label your creation. then it’s yours to take home! Book a brew session here.
