This is one of Scotland’s newest distilleries, opened in 2019, with a focus on exciting new methods and innovative products.
Holyrood Distillery Tours
Located by Holyrood Park and Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh, this city distillery produces both whisky and gin. The 19th century Engine Shed building has been converted into a modern distillery, visitor centre, bar and shop.
The modern, welcoming visitor centre takes guests on a journey of discovery, with a series of hands-on displays. Taking you through the distillation process from start to finish. Then, you can enjoy a whisky or gin tasting in the bar while enjoying fabulous views of Salisbury Crags. And there’s also the option to purchase a bottle to take home with you from the shop, which showcases a range of whiskies and gins from around Scotland.
