Visit The First Dog Café in Edinburgh
The Chihuahua Café is the first dog café in Edinburgh and Scotland. It can be found on Frederick Street in the New Town, just off Princes Street. That’s only a 15-minute walk from us at Parliament House Hotel. The café has a wee pack of Chihuahuas, all owned and cared for by the proprietors. Of course, they all have their own names and personalities. They are a very friendly breed and they love a cuddle. So, you can grab a coffee and a cake and enjoy getting to know them.
The café implements a strict dog-care policy. The Chihuahuas receive training, have routine, structure and discipline, and are loved and well-cared for. To ensure it doesn’t get too crowded for the pups, you must book a slot online before making a visit. Please note, Chihuahua Café is not suitable for children under 5.
‘My partner and I booked here after walking past it by chance when visiting Edinburgh. I love chihuahuas and have two of my own so thought it would be perfect! The staff were lovely and attentive and the coffee was great too. I would definitely recommend it to others!’
