A great little hotel hidden away just below Calton Hill. The room was lovely and comfortable with tv and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and a very smart shower room. It has a small lounge in reception with a lovely warm fire where you can have a coffee or a late-night drink. Also, a bistro where we ate on our first night and the food was delicious. The staff in all areas were also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if looking for a base in Edinburgh as it is five minutes from Waverley station and shops etc.

Booking and Finding Us at Parliament House Hotel

Please note on your booking if you need an elevator. Unfortunately, this excludes you from our most quirky rooms. Be sure to approach the hotel from Waterloo Place. When exiting the train station exit on the Princes Street exit and walk up Waterloo Place. The Calton Road exit presents an unnecessary and rather steep climb up Calton Hill! When you arrive, we will welcome you to a home away from home. One where we have been welcoming Edinburgh-bound travellers through our doors time and time again.
