History brought to life
Stand in the place where the Battle of Bannockburn took place in 1314. The Battle of Bannockburn Experience takes you back to the day of the battle, with digitally recreated scenes and an immersive experience. Learn about this important event in Scottish history, where Robert the Bruce defeated the English in battle, during the First War of Scottish Independence.
Then step back in time at Stirling Old Town Jail and discover stories from the city’s places of punishment. You’ll get the chance to tour the old cells and find out what life was like for prisoners in the 19th century. There is even a Prison Escape Room experience, where groups must solve puzzles and clues in order to solve the crime and escape in time!
