‘Played The North Berwick Golf club and can honestly say the condition of the course matches anywhere else in Scotland.
If you are looking to play one of the best courses in Scotland then this is one to try. A nice variation in holes and wind will test all your golf skills.’

An inspirational design
North Berwick Golf Club was formed in 1832, and from this time the West Links has grown and evolved into a world-renowned 18-hole championship course. Its holes are some of the world’s most replicated. Particularly the famous 15th hole, the “redan”, which has inspired the design of many holes on other courses. In fact, it is known as the most copied hole in the world!
Find out more about playing the West Links on the North Berwick Golf Club website. Including how to book a tee time and full visitor information. And if you’re looking for more courses to visit on your Scottish golf break, please see our guide to golfing from Edinburgh.
