The Scottish Open

The Scottish Open is one of the European Tour’s premier events. From 10th to 14th July 2024 it will again be held at the Renaissance Club in East Lothian. For guests staying with us at Parliament House Hotel in Edinburgh, this is a 45-minute drive away. To travel by public transport, you can get a 30-minute train to North Berwick followed by a 10-minute taxi to the course. General admission is from £25 and tickets are available now. Play a round of golf

As a nation of golf lovers, and indeed the country where the game began, you have plenty of choice when it comes to playing a round in Scotland. Golf activities in Edinburgh

When you’re not playing golf, or watching it, you can still enjoy golf-themed activities and attractions in Edinburgh. The Golf Tavern on the edge of Bruntsfield Links is an excellent stopping point after a round on the links, or simply as a place to eat and drink with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Edinburgh Academy Virtual Golf Centre has simulator bays and launch monitors to offer the ultimate practice and play experience. Or, if you’re looking for something a little more light-hearted, you could try your hand at adventure golf. Volcano Falls at Fountain Park is great fun for a dinosaur golfing adventure!
