‘Well worth a visit. The gardens surrounding the castle are lovely and the Castle itself is very interesting. Lots of rooms to explore and a lovely Doocot. Direlton is also a lovely village.’

East Lothian beaches
Dirleton is situated on the spectacular East Lothian coastline, between the towns of North Berwick and Gullane. There are many beautiful, sandy beaches to enjoy in this area. Gullane Bents and Yellowcraigs Beach are two of our favourites! Ideal for beach walks on the wide sands and sunbathing and paddling in the summer.
