Harvey Nichols & Multrees Walk
Multrees Walk is Edinburgh’s designer quarter. It is home to Scotland’s only Harvey Nichols department store, along with many upscale designer shops including Burberry and Louis Vuitton. A relatively new addition to the city, Harvey Nichols opened in 2002, followed by the rest of Multrees Walk in 2003. The shopping street, just off St Andrew Square, is for pedestrians only. While the design complements its surroundings, it has a modern look compared with much of Edinburgh’s architecture, with spacious walkways and outdoor seating.
Shopping at Multrees Walk
Harvey Nichols is the main attraction at Multrees Walk. This famous department store offers five floors of luxury shopping. You’ll also find outlets for some of the biggest designer names around, such as Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors and Hugo Boss. If you need to take a break, you can relax in one of the cafes, or visit Harvey Nichols’ Forth Floor for a choice of dining experiences.

Harvey Nichols’ address is actually St Andrew Square, but it has a smaller entrance from Multrees Walk and is considered part of the complex. The department store sells designer clothing for men and women, fashion accessories, beauty products, food and drink. Harvey Nichols is world renowned for its fashion and beauty collections and premium food and wine offering. The place in Edinburgh to find the latest must-have item for your wardrobe. Head up to the top floor to the foodmarket and pick up some tasty treats from exclusive brands and Harvey Nichols own label. Then, enjoy spectacular city views from the Forth Floor, where you can wine and dine in the restaurant, brasserie, bar or Chocolate Lounge.
