Take a look around
The Hotel
Our hotel has a fascinating history, stretching back to the 1760s, when the oldest part of the hotel was built in the style of Edinburgh’s Old Town. While the newer building, dating from 1908, reflects the classical style of Edinburgh’s New Town. Both are listed by Historic Scotland as buildings of special interest. We have a comfortable reception and lounge area and also a cosy snug and drinks cabinet. And we serve both Scottish and continental breakfasts every morning in the breakfast room. View the hotel exterior and public spaces in our hotel gallery.

We have 53 cosy and spacious rooms, each one designed for comfort. Choose from double rooms, twin rooms and our hotel suite, all with the latest in-room features and facilities, such as a flat screen TV, telephone, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, trouser press, tea/coffee making and ensuite bathroom.
