As the nights draw in, be dazzled and delighted by one of Edinburgh’s spectacular winter light trails. Walk through a pathway of illuminated lanterns, light installations or projections and experience something truly special and unique. The perfect way to light up the darker evenings!
Christmas at The Botanics
This glittering path winds its way through the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, on a magical winter trail of sparkling tunnels, dancing reflections and colourful lights. As you take in the sights and sounds of this magnificent trail, enjoy delicious warming treats from street food vendors. From 16th November to 30th December 2023, slots are available from 4.30 pm to 8.00 pm. Book your tickets here.
Castle of Light
Now in its fourth year, Castle of Light is a stunning trail of art lighting installations, illuminating the ancient walls of Edinburgh Castle. This year the trail will be exploring “magic and mystery” through dazzling light projections and animations. On selected dates from 24th November 2023 to 3rd January 2024, with time slots between 4.30 pm and 7.30 pm. Book your tickets here.
