Christmas is starting early at the Parliament House Hotel this year. We are doing something different, and it is something that our guests will love—yes, including you if you book early enough! First things first, we don’t want anyone to miss out on our specially selected Christmas and festive menu, so that will be starting right at the first of December and running at least through to Christmas.
Lunch or Dinner, it’s up to you
If you want to join in the fun and come and have lunch with us at our MP’s Bistro, it will cost you a mere £20.95. Lunch hours run between 12 noon until 2pm, so come and have a lovely delicious lunch with us. If you want dinner, it is only a few pounds extra. For just £25.95, you can spend an evening with your favourite person or people and enjoy our dinner menu. Last orders are 9pm, so come and have some tasty treats before you head out for your show or your movie or your walk around town.

If you would like a sneak preview of the tasty treats we have on offer on our 2014 Christmas lunch menu, we can indeed give you that. We probably shouldn’t give it all away, but it is hard to not boast about our amazing cuisine, so here goes. Starters include butternut squash & sage soup served with a generous dollop of crème fraiche, pheasant & fig terrine, served with a cider & thyme jelly and warm brie, tomato & pesto tartlet, with a thyme butter sauce. Sounds delicious, right? Wait until you see the main courses. We have a traditional turkey and all the trimmings, rolled pork loin with the stuffing and stuff and pan-fried Scottish salmon fillet. Desserts include dark chocolate mousse, caramelized pear strudel and traditional Christmas pudding, with a tea or a coffee to wrap it up.
Dinner Menu sneak preview
Dinner includes, starters of lightly curried parsnip soup, warm roast beetroot salad, terrine of comfit chicken, pheasant and sage, and flaked smoked mackerel. There is also an intermediate course of Prosecco sorbet as a palate cleanser. You can try our roast turkey with the trimmings, pan-fried halibut, chestnut and squash roulade, roast saddle of venison. Desserts include traditional Christmas pudding, chocolate fondant tart and cinnamon spice apple crumble with blackberry.
