Climbing Arena
Edinburgh also has its own climbing arena. Edinburgh International Climbing Arena is the largest climbing centre in Europe! Whether you are an experienced climber or just starting out, there’s an activity for you. The centre is in Ratho, around a 30-minute drive from the city centre. Snowsports Centre
Midlothian Snowsports Centre offers practise skiing and snowboarding, as well as lessons and coaching. With two main slopes, three nursery slopes, a jump slope and range of freestyle features. The practise slopes are only available to those who have had prior instruction. The centre is in Hillend, around a 20-minute drive from the city centre. Tennis in Edinburgh is very popular! And as such Edinburgh Tennis plenty of open indoor and outdoor tennis courts for you to enjoy. Play on a variety of surfaces, day or night, all year round.
