Just a stone’s throw from our hotel, Howies on Waterloo Place is an elegant Georgian dining room with high ceilings and grand period features. Offering fresh, local and seasonal dishes. Lunch or dinner here is a real treat!

The Lookout by Gardener’s Lodge, Calton Hill

5 minute walk, via steps

This relaxed restaurant sits on top of Calton Hill and, as the name suggests, it offers splendid views. Partially suspended over the hill slopes, it has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city skyline and beyond. The Lookout is a partnership between The Gardener’s Cottage restaurant and arts organisation, Collective, with a local, seasonal menu.

Ada Restaurant, 9/3 Antigua Street
